The Zoology Department at Government College, Sundargarh is an experienced community of faculties dedicated to popularize our understanding of animal biology and its application. Our department is famous for broad history of excellence in teaching and practicals forming a productive environment for students, faculties and staffs.
The vision of the Zoology Department is to increase the understanding and appreciation of animal life through rigorous academic programmes and active community engagement. We are committed to teach and guide the students to become skilled zoologist and researchers in animal sciences who can represent critical issues related to animal conservation, their biodiversity, physiological and biochemical mechanism.
The Zoology Department has the visions on fostering a brief understanding of animal science, comprehensive education and community outreach.
We aim to create a passion on animal diversity, animal physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, cytology, ecology, instrumentation and fisheries and prepare the students to advance their interest about scientific knowledge and practical application Zoology.
